Documentary film is one of the activities of the “Build up for Social Inclusion Advocacy Platform in BiH - Will You Stop and Listen” project financed by European Union, and implemented by SIF in BiH and IBHI.
Social inclusion of marginalized groups is important and demanding topic for bh society. Hence, the intention is to change attitudes about inclusiveness and openness that are dominating in bh society through real life stories of actual persons.
“Will You Stop and Listen” is a documentary film about six young persons from Bosnia and Herzegovina: Azra Dedić from Bihać, Nadina Imamović from Sarajevo, Biljana Nedić, Haris Eminović and Vanja Čolić from Banja Luka, and Kristijana Nikolić from Mostar.
They are fighters, true heroes unknown. This film will change that!
Documentary film “Will You Stop and Listen” glows with optimisms and affirmation of one’s willpower, celebrating toughness of spirit, and beauty of human being. A leitmotif of the film is person’s inspiration to reach the goal and move towards that goal unstoppably. Then, his or hers achievement inspires us all.
These are the stories about passion for sports and art, love for music and dance, desire for better education, hopes and fears too.

Mladen Vojičić TIFA

“I’m speaking my mind and having nothing to hide”. It is with these words that Mladen Vojičić Tifa describes himself in the documentary titled “Tifa”. This 50-minutes story is the story about one of the most popular and most controversial public figures in the region and tries to explain his popularity.
Through all his ups and downs, Mladen Vojičić remained simply Tifa and nothing has changed him. The film speaks about Tifa’s meteoric success as the singer of “Bijelo dugme”, and his cooperation with “Divlje Jagode” and “Vatreni Poljubac”, as well as about his solo career.
Great figures of the rock’n’roll scene talk in the film: Goran Bregović, Milić Vukašinović, Bruno Langer, Sead Zele Lipovača… as well as his closest friends who have been by his side on rainy and on sunny days alike.
A special part in this film is focused on Tifa’s war period 1992-1994, when legendary and unforgettable songs “Ponesi zastavu” (Take the Flag) and the cult-song “Grbavica” were made.
The legendary concerts held in “Skenderija” and in the Dobrinja suburb of Sarajevo, as well as rare footage of the concert held in the war at “Sloga” in November 1993, showing the atmosphere both on the stage and in backstage.
A great part of the film is archival material filmed from mid-1980s until the beginning of this millennium in the systems of BETACAM SP and VHS).
Inter-municipal cooperation

Successful stories from around the world show that cooperation between neighboring cities and municipalities significantly contributes to the progress of local communities. Inter-municipal cooperation in the European Union countries is a standard for quality performance within the jurisdiction of local authorities. Joint activities of municipalities and cities contribute to creating a better and more efficient solution for citizens' problems, and thus improve the quality of life in local communities. However, in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), municipalities and cities rarely join forces and therefore it was necessary to enhance cooperation between local governments, and enable them to respond to the needs of citizens more efficiently, and mutually encourage the development of their communities. In order to improve the living conditions of the local population, the Government of Switzerland and the United Nations Development Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UNDP BiH), have launched inter-municipal cooperation projects within the Integrated Local Development Project (ILDP).

One of the main goals of the Integrated Local Development Project (ILDP), a joint project of the Government of Switzerland and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H), is to support partner municipalities and cities in promoting local development to the general benefit of all citizens.

The series "Pozitivna geografija" started broadcasting on the Federal Television of Bosnia and Herzegovina in October 2001 featuring 36 episodes of documentary-entertainment content. The series captures interesting everyday life moments of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and follows the events and unfamiliar phenomena of human life in this area.
The series "Pozitivna geografija" was awarded the Vizija Grand Prix, winning second place in the documentary film category at the festival Vizija 2002 in Zenica.
Tri epizode serijala uvrštene su u program berlinskog televizijskog festivala PRIX EVROPA.
Three episodes of the series have been enlisted in the program of the Berlin television festival “PRIX EUROPE”.

Odyssey in Bosnia

As a medium, television is a powerful tool of public persuasion for ethnic and religious conflicts in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entire former Yugoslavia. Nationalist rhetoric and propaganda has been used on television to initiate and prolong violence in Bosnia.
FIST and a multi-ethnic/religious team of television and film professionals aim to produce an entertaining and informative television program called "Odyssey in Bosnia", which promotes a common sense decision for reconciliation and cooperation between ethnic and religious groups in B&H. With the support of OBN, F.I.S.T. anticipates to use the power of television in the name of unity and cooperation to counter past and minimize existing divisions which are often promoted on local television and other media.

It Can’t Be More Red Than This
The images and sounds in the film blend together from the perspective of the three main characters; a boy Nebojsa Malic who has kept a diary since 1984; his father, a sound engineer on Radio BiH, who creates a sound recording of the war by recording mostly his family and making a radio drama “Fire of Sarajevo” with his colleague Mirsad Tukic; and a TV director Slavisa Masic, who made live broadcasts during the 14th Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo in 1984 and documentaries about children during the war siege in Sarajevo.
In the documentary the roles are played by the authentic characters. The story tells the drama of the city of Sarajevo before the eyes of the world by combining different periods and places in Sarajevo in 1984, 1992, 1993, 1994 and Washington D.C. 2000. The resemblance to personalities and events is intentional. Today, and what is today, Nebojsa Malic lives and studies in the United States, as well as thousands of young people from Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
